About me

I love horse riding, vaulting, and anything else that has to do with horses. They are such strong, brave, caring animals, and worthy of a closer look. They have meant so much to mankind. Horses have worked in the fields alongside farmers, and have been our primary means of transportation. That’s why we call them noble animals. Horses deserve a place in the spotlight.

Besides, horses are just such a beautiful and diverse species, capable of doing so many different things. There are small, sturdily built Shetland ponies, and slimmer species like the Arabian horse. The Przewalski horses from the far north, and the Andalusian breed from the heat of Spain. There are so many shapes and forms of horses. You’ll never run out of inspiring, varied, and challenging material to draw.

Which brings me to my other hobby, that this website is dedicated to. I love drawing, painting, and other forms of creativity. I especially like to draw beautiful pictures of horses. Running horses, prancing horses, close-ups, everything. By focusing on this beautiful animal that inspires me, I hope to improve my drawing skills, and develop an eye for detail. Ultimately, I want to create images that reflect how I perceive horses.

I am not a professional illustrator, nor am I someone who has taken classes. I am just a person who wants to combine her two hobbies, and improve her skills.

So, what will I put on this website? I will try to upload a new drawing, painting, or whatever every week, including a short explanation of how I came to the result. Will you follow me?
