How to draw a horse in the water on a starry night – Day 17

This drawing is part of my 30-days drawing challenge, in which I’ll try to make a new drawing/painting daily.

The white horse on a black background I made a few days ago using POSCA markers turned out so well, that I decided to use the same principle in today’s drawing. This time with the subject being a horse standing in the water on a starry night.

I decided to add the starry night later, after I realized that the drawing looked unfinished without the stars.
